Graffiti Life (now Joy Collective)
Senior Artist & Designer
2013 – 2020 • London
Graffiti Life was a creative mural agency producing commercial artworks, corporate workshops, and experiential activations for brands and agencies.
As lead studio designer, I handled day-to-day creative output across client briefs, design mock-ups, video content, and pitch materials, while also supporting project planning and large-scale production delivery.
In 2014, the company expanded into a new public-facing gallery space. I played a central role in developing and managing the gallery, curating exhibitions, liaising with artists, and overseeing marketing and presentation materials. I also led the rebrand from The Graffiti Life Gallery to Proof London, developing the identity, written positioning and design assets that helped establish it as a respected voice for contemporary urban art.
Key Responsibilities
• Designed visual concepts and digital assets for pitches, web, and video content.
• Planned and coordinated large-scale mural installations and live workshops.
• Managed gallery operations, curation, and artist relations.
• Oversaw rebranding and identity development for the gallery’s transition to Proof London.
Key Achievements
-
Leveraged personal connections to help scale production capacity and broaden the talent pool.
-
Repositioned the gallery with a new identity and vision, overseeing design, programming and exhibition delivery for more than 25 shows between 2014–2017
-
Guided the company’s entry into painted advertising, applying personal expertise to develop a profitable new service offering.
-
Introduced more efficient planning systems for installations, helping junior team members deliver smoother in-house and on-site projects.
